A Brewer's Event (Sort of)

October 21, 2017

OctoberFist will feature a series of competitions and games honoring the Brewers of Calontir..

The tournament will be team based. The winning team will declare the Queen of the Festival.. Each team will need a Brewer or Vintner, a Fighter, an Artisan, and a Performer.

The Tournament itself will consist of a number of events:

A Brewing Competition: You can enter a wine, cordial, mead, or beer. - 3 points

A Bar Brawl Tournament: Special rules and weapons will apply. - 2 Points

A Beer Barrel Tournament: Very confined space, axes and/or hammers only. - 2 Points

An A&S Competition: Anything about creating, drinking, or storing alcohol.. - 2 Points

A Bardic competition: Your best drinking song or most impressive long winded boast. - 1 Point

In addition to the Tournament we will have a Butt Shoot for Archers, (assuming we can find an Archer Marshal) a Barrel Roll competition for kids, and a Stein Carry competition for the adults.

Site is at Tribble Park, Highway OO, Hallsville, Missouri - Site opens at 8:00 am - Events start at 10:00 am

DIRECTIONS: From the East, West, and South, find your best route to Columbia, MO. From I-70 at exit 128 go north on Highway 63. Take the Route B exit to Hallsville. Drive north on Route B for 10 miles. You will reach the city limits of Hallsville. Continue to the stop light. (We only have one.) Turn right at the light and continue approximately 1 block to Tribble Park. It will be on the right. Coming from the North, head towards Columbia, MO on Highway 63 to Highway 124 East. Take a left. Continue driving on 124 until you reach the stop light in Hallsville. Go through the light. Continue about 1 block to Tribble Park on the right.
